The museum was founded by local people and represents the culmination of several years of work and determination by the members.

Our museum maintains a vast collection of unique railroad items, including:

 - A rail yard containing  a collection of rolling stock.
 - Dining car china and silverware.
 - Bells, lights, whistles and lanterns.
 - Reference library of books, photos and videotapes.
 - Operating HO and N-gauge model railroads.

Our museum is a visible part of the Enid community and represents one of the largest collections of railroad material in the United States.

If you love real history of the railroad, don't miss this place. It's really laid back and the old man that keeps going is a national treasure. What a character! Loves talking and is chock full of a past on the rails. It's 5 bucks a person but it's worth much more if this your thing. My son LOVES trains, so we had a blast.

Everything was great once we got done with the tour. The owner/manager of the museum is obviously very proud of his railroad collection and proceeded to give a standard tour to a family with toddlers. We spent most of our time nodding and smiling while we corralled the children and tried to entertain them. Once the tour concluded our children LOVED playing outdoors on the railroad cars, ringing the various bells and watching the model railroad sets.

Had a great time at the museum with the cutest little engineer ever!! It was a lot of fun to see all of the old artifacts that "Watermelon" has collected over the years. There are so many things to look at and admire. We could have spent hours there if we didn't have our little engineer with us. He had a blast though!!

This Museum was a labor of love for a lot of old-time railroad workers. It has quite a number of memorabilia items from the old days of fine dining on the railroad. It has a large display of other items as well. Plus, it has a miniature train set up that I would almost be willing to kill for. The cost is free, however they would like a donation as you leave.
